Strawberry Milk Doc Martens!

I was only a little into punk in high school, so it's a little surprising to me that my new fascination is sweet punk. Part Alice Deco, part Nana Kitade, and part total experimentation... I love playing with the idea! I love getting dressed really carefully with a very planned-out coordinate... but I also love just choosing one piece and seeing where it goes, trying on all of my bows and not sure what to do with my hair or if I even have matching socks! When I saw these boots on Taobao I knew I had to work them into my wardrobe.

(stock photo from the Grace Gift website)

They're based off the well-loved punk boot Doc Martens, a must-have for girls and guys alike in the punk scene. I wouldn't normally be that fascinated in that but... this color is amazing! They're the purest pink I have ever seen, with black accents and a tread that leaves all my other shoes in the dust. I look forward to wearing them in the snow this winter instead of my little mincing heels! I'm still breaking them in, since they're stiff, but so far they are so comfortable! I would even wear these to a meetup, so I can walk in them - even if they're not super lolita.

shoes: Taobao's Grace Gift
Skirt, wristlets: Angelic Pretty
Bow: Forever 21
Socks: Innocent World
Black lace bloomers: Metamorphose
NEVERMIND shirt: unknown? I bought this secondhand from a girl in Germany I think... I really love unusual and romantic screenprints, I wish they were more popular in lolita fashion. This one shows Marie Antoinette with roses, a heart-shaped beauty mark, and the flag of England (uh... what? oh well, it looks cute!)

I also went for a punky asymmetrical hairstyle, using one of the pink clip-in falls from my new pink/blonde split Minty Mix wig! I have big plans for it, as you'll see! For now I'll just say that it is beautiful quality and it's currently my favorite, most elaborately princess-y wig. I just got my new Princess in Love Angelic Pretty JSK and I think they're going to be a perfect match! (Can you tell this is my new dream dress...? :P It's so much more beautiful in person, I'll post photos of it soon!) So the clip down one side and curling my natural hair, then straightening the other like I've seen in a few Alice Deco magazines. It was really easy to do and I think brought the outfit together.

And the middle photo has my pup Misu, or Little Thing as she mostly common gets called. She's such a big girl now! 3.8 pounds... -_-;; But she's growing in a crop of reddish brown fur that will eventually become that huge, silky, Fabio-like Pomeranian coat. She sits snuggled in the covers of my bed while I get dressed :3

I've been working on a few projects lately to show you so stayed tuned! I can't wait to update Lolita Charm with new things this month :)

Such a cute coordinate! I'll look forward to seeing how you experiment with the substyles inspired by the 'darker' alternative fashions (as a goth myself, you know.) ^-^
By the way, your new header banner is gorgeous!!

I am a huge Dr Martens fan, and these ones are adoreable. I have a black pair that I bought ten years ago, and they are still going strong. They do take a bit of wearing in, but once you've gotten used to them, they will be so comfortable you won't be able to believe it.

Yeah, I've already seen a lot of girls wearing doc martens with their Lolita dresses, I think it looks cool! (if it's well coordinated, as always).

Rocking Horse Shoes were totally made for punk style, but almost all Lolitas have a pair! So let's keep going on trying and mixing new things~

I was about to say exactly the same thing than LegsDiamond, hehe!

I love the oversized bow, and the pink and black is always winner!

iomoo, the light pink docs only come in kids sizes ;_; & since she says she got them off taobao, I'm guessing they're not the real deal.

This is spurring me to want a pair of authentic white docs, though!

I love it! I've always wanted to do a coord like that with my metal tees.

@iomoo: They're knockoffs, Taobao usually sells Chinese replicas of popular shoes and clothing. I'm sure they vary from real Doc Martens, but they're 'Doc Martenish' enough for me :)

@Legsdiamond: I feel so silly not knowing that! My music ignorance is showing XD

As a DocMartens girl myself, I can share your love... and pain as well, while breaking them in.
Try putting a shoulderpad at the heels for the first couple of wears - it is said to do the trick.
Sadly, I was told this way after breaking in my baby, so now I try to share it with everyone. :)

By the way, i love the coordi. So sweet! ^^

I've got similar shirt, but it's whit instead of black. It's from Gina Tricot, a Swedish store chain that sells clothes and accessories for a cheap prize. Thought I should share this!

Oh, and love the shoes ♥ I've always wanted ones like those, though in dark blue or turquoise or baby blue... or simply white.
