I mentioned making soft dolls earlier in my blog, and that was your hint that yes, LC has a brand-new member! This is Miko-chan!

Miko-chan has a soft muslin body filled with fiberfill. Her hair is couched (took forever!!) glitter two-thread yarn. Her eyes are black buttons with white paint for her twinkles, and her (unfinished) camisole is embroidery thread with a flower shaped button and rhinestone. Her hairbows are just ribbon tied in bows and fastened with pins.

She isn't finished yet, she is missing some embroidery on her face and her camisole needs to be finished. She's also due to have appliqued knitted white socks with lace trim, and embroidered Mary Janes - probably 'heart buckle' shoes in black. And then of course she needs bloomers, a petticoat, and a dress. Whew!

I couldn't wait to post pictures of her new personality, but she's quite nude!
