Review: Gothic & Lolita Bible Vol. 29

While at CTcon I purchased (all right, asked my brother to pick up for me!) a copy of G&LB Vol. 29 (Japanese). A brief overview is in order!

Highlights:

-a complete ton of patterns and basic how-tos, including Mille Fleurs bloomers, Visible dress, and Maxicimam items
-in-depth hair style and nail close-ups
-how to decorate your cellphone in various styles, including sweets, Gothic, and punky
-making your own crazy candy-fruit-birthday parfaits
-using an item for multiple coordinates article

Also includes a manga, a collection of stickers, and of course beautiful photoshoots!

All in all, I found it both chock-full of information and inspiration. It has plenty of style for every kind of Lolita, and may even broaden yours a little by mixing new ideas.

Some things I loved:

-a photo montage of four Lolitas in the grass, with beautiful wigs!
-the giant full-page image of the Alice and the Pirates model, wearing circle lens and with beautiful nautical nails!
-the blonde braids hairstyle
-the ghoul messenger bag! I have a notion to make this and then sweeten it with some pink & bows :)
